Ongoing events:

Every 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month from 7-9pm "Pathwork" lecture study group guided by Dauro Aquino;  New group will be formed soon, call Dauro for more information.

Every Monday from 7-8:30pm - Guided Imagery meditation focused on prosperity - guided by Danuza Aquino

Every Saturday at 5:30pm meditation (two weeks are guided by Danuza Aquino in English and two weeks are guided by Cristina Capobianco in Portuguese). Obs: In the summer months we meditate outside. Call to get information. Obs: Saturday meditations are suspended from Sept-Dec 2006 because of renovations. Call to get indormation of occasional meditations on saturdays.

January 1: Meditation for the new year.

Special 3 hour meditation with purpose to set up the energy for prosperity 2006. Starts at 5 pm

January 27: Meditation with invited guest Marty Levin

Starts at 7pm. Will include practice of Ancient and Buddhist Chants.

May 3: Special Board Meeting with Rebecca Cohen-open to the public- 6:30pm

Rebecca Cohen will speak about her experience in Bahia, Brazil ,working  with kids and families at risk for crime and violence. The project is a six-month pilot project focused on violence prevention  through art and education . To read more about this project go to Humanitarian Services on this web.

June 11:  Jucimara's live recording  and CD promotion at Plaza Garibaldi-  8pm

Many friends and supporters will participate in this unique moment of her career. Jucimara has been in previous "Resgatando Talentos"  (talent show to support and promote new talents in the USA). She has been  a singer  since she was a kid and today she is performing with "Imigrasamba" and  with her own musicians all over Boston area. This performance is a gift to those who have the chance to go see this amazing singer live and close!

July 17: Special spiritual retreat and meditation day - at Harold Parker  all day and night- silence and some cleansing is required to participate-call Danuza Aquino for more information.

July 21: Special performance by Rosana Peixoto and invited guest "Samba tremeterra" - at Milk Way- 8pm.

Another great opportunity to hear wonderful music and support the work of a fantastic singer ! Roxana Peixoto has been a guest in the "Discovering Talents" (a show promoted by Danuza Aquino  every other  wednesday at CCTV in Cambridge with the  intention to expose and support local Brazilian artists).

July 20-25: Collection of clothing and donations for the  Sri Lankan victims of the Tsunami.

Danuza Aquino and Carl-Fredrik Westin will travel to Sri Lanka on July 26th. 

July 30: Visit to the fisherman village in Sri Lanka-donations distributed- please see pictures and read more about this story at humanitarian services in this web.

August 27: Fundraising Dinner at 19 Boston st Somerville 5pm- funds  donated in this event with special participation of Rebecca Cohen will go towards the Bahia project with kids at risk for violence.  Special thanks to Carolyn Mota, Cristina Capobianco, Danuza Aquino, Marcia Koike, Rebecca Cohen, Izabel Aquino and Dauro Aquino for donating the food  for this event. Special thanks to Tim Kunz and Carl-Fredrik for helping promoting the event. Special thanks to all who can come and to those who can not attend but still contribute .
