Most large items that are very difficult and expensive to send to
Brazil we try to either raffle or sell at low-price to low income
families in order to help raise money to send computers to Brazilian
schools, day-cares, orphanages and hospitals. We accept them in
Boston or you might send them directly to Brazil to those addresses:
in Belo Horizonte- av Magi Salomon n 715 Salgado Filho Belo Horizonte
Minas Gerais Brazil Zip 30550190. In Jaboticatubas- Creche
Irma Maria Dolores Rua Reginaldo Costa Reis n 450 Bairro Bom
Jesus, Jaboticatubas, MG Zip 35830000.
depending on size and quality we send
it to Brazil, otherwise we donate in Boston area for low-income
households and individuals.
we send
a large majority in good condition to Brazil and we distribute the
rest for low-income families in Boston area.
You can teach
something you know that can help improve or develop the community,
particularly low-income families both in Brazil and in the USA.
We welcome classes related to the arts, health, sports, English
as second language, meditation, and more. You can also donate your
time to do administrative work, transportation of donations, marketing
or fundraising activities.
Our group is a not for profit group and your donations will
be appropriately used in the benefit of individuals and families
we support in our humanitarian programs, some of the costs for shipping
and managing the distributions will also come from donations. If
you have a preference of recipient for your donations (ex: prefer
to donate computers to schools), please let us know. It might be
possible to arrange to meet specific needs from donors, but our
intention is to attend the most needed communities and organizations
first. We attend as many individuals and families as we can and
we do not discriminate against any specific group and we also do
not select any specific group as recipients based on their religion
or political views. All the recipients and families in our programs
are selected or invited based on their survival and social needs.
As much as we would love to serve all disadvantaged communities,
we are limited to the resources we have available through our donors
and volunteers.
